make things happenBumper stickers send messages to the universe. What you put out to the universe in words or on your bumper or whether you actually speak them had better be what you want. If you have ‘I’m a bitch’ or ‘Life is a bitch’, on a bumper sticker, you will be right! Think of thousands of people you are sending the negative message to. You are screaming the message to the world. The subconscious mind doesn’t take a joke! Watch your words, written and spoken. YOU are listening! What you say is what you get!

A vision board is the opposite of a negative bumper sticker, however it works the same way. What’s the difference? A vision board is something you actually want and when you focus on it you are putting it out to the universe. As you emotionalize it, you are programing your mind as you go over it daily – and that’s why you get it. It’s that simple.

It works the same with what you have hanging on the walls of your home. What messages are your paintings sending to the world? What sayings do you have in pictures in your house? If they are positive, uplifting, and motivating, you and your family will benefit. If they are sarcastic and negative, don’t think they are being ignored. Whoever reads them is being programmed to the truth of what they say, whether it is good or bad. Hopefully, you have things like ‘Dream big’ ‘Respect each other’ ‘Forgive and Forget’ ‘Try new things’ ‘Help each other’ ‘Laugh Together’ ‘Say please and thank you’. Those are just a few little sayings I have on my wall on a little sign that is entitled FAMILY RULES.

Look at what you are spreading to the universe. What you put out is what you get. Be on the look out of things that you can spread that are positive. 


Do You Have a Positive Mind?

woman thinkingA negative mind will not give you a positive life. Everyone wants a positive life because a positive life is filled with success, fulfilling relationships, and happiness. It’s a fact that you life is a print out of the negative or positive thoughts in your mind.

How do you know you don’t have a negative mind? Answer these questions:   Be honest – answer them the way you are, not the way you wish you were!

  1. When someone gives you a suggestion do you frequently think of a reason why it won’t work?
  2. When you meet someone for the first time, do you usually think of something bad or that you don’t like about the person?
  3. When something you don’t like happens to you, do you quickly share it with friends and family?
  4. Do you have a close friend who is a drama queen?
  5. Are you afraid you won’t get your main goal you want in life?
  6. Are you hard on yourself and frequently quietly criticize yourself?
  7. Are you a worrier?
  8. Do you wish you had more fun in life and laughed more?

If you answered ‘yes’ to 4 or more, you’re not a raging optimist; in fact, you are probably a pessimist. If that’s you, it’s important to realize that when you complain or have pessimistic attitude, you’ve made a decision that something is not good. Change that habit! Look for the good! It’s there if you look for it.

Time to see the other side of life. There’s a song that says, ‘‘Turn that frown upside down and smile that frown away.’

 What to do to be more positive:

  • Consciously be more open to suggestions and people.
  • Stop speaking negatively to yourself and others.
  • Speak only about what you want, not about something bad that happened nor what you don’t want.
  • Keep a smile on your face and have more fun.
  • When you find yourself worrying, immediately change your thoughts to see the way you want the situation to turn out.
  • Quit watching negative news programs (well, that’s pretty much all news these days!)

A change of mind can change your life quickly. Go for it!

How a Negative Mind Will Never Give You a Positive Life

pos lifeA negative mind  can only bring negativity into a person’s life. Negative energy attracts negative circumstances, negative people, and negative situations. It’s a universal law that  what you put out is exactly what comes back into your life.

None wants to have a negative mind but they don’t realize that it’s their habits that create their negative mind. Which habits bring negativity into your life?

Tiny, little, innocent things that you might not think could make a difference in anyone’s life are the dirty little culprits. Things such as complaining and blaming are two of the worst things you can do. Complaining is straight up thinking about the bad side of a situation. Blaming is giving up complete responsibility for your life which, in itself, brings in negativity.

Looking at a person’s fault rather than what’s good about them can be a devastating habit which can destroy your overall attitude as well as your overall relationship with that person.

Expecting a bad outcome in a situation rather than believing in a good one, can be a habit that can only bring a bad outcome most of the time. Studies show that you usually get what you expect. The more the negative outcome happens, the more you expect it and it becomes a circle of doom.

Repeating or sharing bad things that happen can only bring more bad things to happen. What you think about and speak about – comes about. Think about the way you want the situation to turn out and put the unpleasant situation behind you. It’s over – don’t perpetuate that energy by spreading it around to others.

Replaying experiences in your mind that didn’t go the way you wanted is a sure-fire way to tell your mind you want more of them. See it in your mind the way you wanted it to happen and you will actually change the energy of the situation.

Check your habits..once you recognize that you have a habit to work on, you’ve already begun to change negativity to positivity. Pick one right now and consciously make a change. It takes a positive mind to have a positive life and you can learn to have a positive mind.
